ALCES was founded in 1994 by Tomasz Przybył. Its history sets the path for dynamic development in the area of refrigeration and logistics services.
Initially, the cold storage rooms consisted of two chambers with a total volume of 2000 m3.
In response to the growing demand for refrigeration spaces, the company decided to invest in new facilities. As a result, nine modern chambers were created with a capacity of as many as 17,500 pallet spaces. The design of these facilities, based on the latest technologies in the field of construction, insulation and freezing technology, is fully compliant with the requirements of European Union Directives.
The central element of maintaining constant thermal parameters is the panel structure with a polyurethane core. The efficiency of the cooling processes is ensured by an advanced refrigeration engine room, operating on the basis of two-stage piston compressors. In addition, the company has the ability to freeze as much as 200 tons of goods within 48 hours, which is a process depending on the product range and packaging method, based on three shock freezing tunnels.
ALCES cold store has extensive authorizations, including EU export authorizations. Moreover, the company is subject to constant supervision by the Veterinary Inspection. In addition, the company has received authorization from the District Veterinary Officer in Kalisz to export to the market of third countries, which is confirmed by the veterinary identification number: PL 30 07 11 02 WE.
